Barking&Dagenham -TM -FS & Safeguarding Team - £45.20 p/h Umb

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Family Support & Safeguarding Team for London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing the delivery of statutory social work services to children and families, ensuring compliance with legislation and guidance.
* Supervising and supporting a team of Social Workers and practitioners to deliver high-quality safeguarding services.
* Ensuring services are delivered within budget and meet agreed quality standards.
* Overseeing referrals to ensure children and families receive appropriate and timely interventions.
* Maintaining high standards of professional practice, performance, and case management across the team.
* Contributing to service development, implementing operational procedures, and promoting best practice through legislation and research.
* Participating as part of the management team and representing the service in multi-agency settings.
* Providing regular supervision, appraisal, and performance management to staff, ensuring continuous development and service improvement.

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working

Pay Rate:
* -45.20 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years'' experience in children''s social care
* Management experience within safeguarding or family support services
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
