Role Overview
As aandnbsp;Bar Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Bar. You will support theandnbsp;General Managerandnbsp;in ensuring smooth business operations, providing excellent customer service, and leading the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee theandnbsp;barandnbsp; operations, ensuring high standards of drink, and customer service.
- Assist in managing and motivating a team to ensure exceptional service standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws, and other hotel regulations.
- Support staff recruitment, training, and performance management to build a strong and efficient team.
- Updating drink menus and introducing new cocktails or products on a regular basis with fresh new ideas.
- Maintain a constant stock of bar products working alongside local suppliers and breweries.
- Assist in stock control, budgeting, and financial planning to optimize profitability.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality management or supervisory role in aandnbsp;bar, or restaurantandnbsp;setting (essential)
- Previous Cellar Management would be preferable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
