Banqueting Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Banqueting Manager to join the team at Moor Hall Hotel and Spa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful running of the hotel''s banqueting operation by managing the daily banqueting functions (weddings, special events, dinners) whilst ensuring departmental standards are maintained. They will be able to lead from the front and communicate effectively at all levels. They will have excellent people management skills in order to train and motivate the team, working closely with wider hotel departments to achieve the very best standards possible. Key responsibilities include:To oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquets and eventsEnsure all functions meet hotel standards and client expectationsCoordinate room layouts, décor, equipment, and service schedulesConduct pre-event briefings with staffRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staffLead service teams during functions and ensure smooth communicationMonitor staff performance and maintain service standardsEnsure compliance with food safety, licensing, and health and safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness and safe working practices in all event areasWe are looking for someone who has:Previous experience in hospitality or banqueting managementStrong leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage large functionsGood knowledge of food and beverage service ..... full job details .....
