Banksman

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction project in Widnes. Working for a reputable contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, plant, and personnel around site while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely guide and direct site traffic, delivery vehicles, and mobile plant.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers and plant operators using recognised hand signals and/or radio communication.
• Ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation is maintained at all times.
• Coordinate site deliveries and manage access and egress points.
• Assist with site logistics and support the site management team.
• Monitor site traffic movements and report any hazards or safety concerns.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience working as a Banksman on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.
• Full PPE.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
