Banking and Purchase Ledger Team LeaderLocation: Central Bristol Contract: Permanent Full Time Hybrid / Flexible working availableThe OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Banking and Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join one of the UK''s leading legal expenses insurer in a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the Banking and Purchase Ledger (BPandL) function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing across group.The role plays a critical part in managing liquidity, supporting financial reporting and maintaining robust financial controls, working closely with the Financial Accounting and Control team, auditors and wider stakeholders across the business.The RoleAs Banking and Purchase Ledger Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the BPandL team, ensuring all payments in and out are accurately recorded, reconciled and reported in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing the Banking and Purchase Ledger team, providing coaching, guidance and performance managementEnsuring accurate and timely processing of all bank transactions and purchase ledger activityOversight of bank reconciliations, ensuring issues are identified, investigated and resolved promptlyManaging liquidity and supporting cash management activitiesActing as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including auditorsSupporting strong governance, ..... full job details .....
