Contract type: Bank/Zero hours    As Ward Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the ward for patients, visitors and staff.    Duties and responsibilities (not limited):     To greet and provide a customer focused, professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all Patients, Consultants, and Visitors to the hospital.  To deal with all telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner.  To inform insurance companies if extended length of stay is required.  To keep insurance companies informed of emergency admissions.  To be aware of discharge dates and times and ensure that the relevant departments, i.e. Reception and Catering are informed when patient is leaving.
