Bank Specialist Occupational Therapist (Rotational) Band 6 – Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The Occupational Therapist has to attend both ad hoc and regular work within the band 6 general rotations. The rotations happen on a 9 monthly basis across the following clinical teams:Vascular and AmputeesTrauma and OrthopaedicsHand TherapyHealth Services for Older PeopleRapid Response / AandEAcute Stroke and NeurologyComplex MedicineRole and Responsibilities
Provide specialised Occupational Therapy (OT) service to patients treated within RFH services in the given clinical area, working under guidance and incorporating evidence-based practice (EBP) in the management of patient care.Clinically supervise and guide the professional work of less experienced therapy staff and students as appropriate, while complying with professional and departmental standards of practice.Assist in operational issues in the absence of the Therapy Team Leader.Refer to the attached Job Description/Person Specification for further information.Requirements and Expectations
