The post holder will be responsible for providing autonomous, evidence-based, women-centred midwifery care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, other agencies, and service users. They will support other midwives and deliver high-quality, safe midwifery care, ensuring standards of practice and clinical excellence in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct.Clinical:
Plan and implement individualised midwifery care that is women, pregnant person, child, and family-centred.Facilitate participation of service users and their families in decision-making, ensuring informed choice dialogue.Complete, action, and document all risk assessments and referrals.Follow midwifery/obstetric guidelines and liaise with the multidisciplinary team regarding patient care, reporting deviations from protocols.Ensure all clinical records meet Trust and regulatory standards.Maintain evidence-based midwifery practice and competency across all skills.Engage in continuous professional development, including mandatory training and online learning.Administration:
Report and maintain equipment properly.Use storage and supplies efficiently and report any stock deficiencies.Personnel:
