Duties and Responsibilities: Correctly undertake tasks that have been delegated in relation to specific patients as agreed with the care team Prepare patient, equipment and materials appropriately Obtain consent from patients before starting the tasks e.g. moving and handling, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times Moving patient from bed to trolley; trolley to operating table; operating table to trolley; trolley to bed Identify and report to an appropriate person any significant changes that might affect the patient''s health and well-being during escort duties and moving/handling Respect patients'' privacy, dignity, wishes and beliefs and minimise any necessary discomfort Record information related to designated tasks and activities accurately and passes it on to the relevant person in the team on time Liaise with the theatre team regarding the organisation of theatre lists Provide patient support within the anaesthetic room Ensure moving and handling equipment...
