Cygnet Hospital Oldbury is our state-of-the-art PICU and Acute hospital for women, in the West Midlands.

The service has two wards, a 12-bed PICU ward and a 15-bed Acute ward.

Cygnet Hospital Oldbury has a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and supports the acute needs of adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those who may need an intensive care environment.

We’re focused on length of stay and making sure individuals move as quickly and safely as possible from our services to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment for them.

Individuals can step down through the pathways available within Cygnet services.

Referrals can come to us from all areas, including other acute services and prison services.

Your day-to-day… Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit and improve quality Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines Why Cygnet?
