Imaging Assistant Spire Leicester Hospital Bank 0 Hour Contract Spire Leicester Hospital have an exciting opportunity to join our bank as an assistant in the imaging department.The role involves supporting a range of ultrasound and fluoroscopy clinics, including breast, gynaecology, and other sensitive examinations, requiring a professional and compassionate approach to patient care and chaperoning duties.Duties and responsibilitiesAssisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient careContributing to the support and monitoring of patientsIdentifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient''s health and well-being to the appropriate personAssisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policiesWho we''re looking forPrevious experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), Radiology Department Assistant (RDA), or equivalent in a clinical/acute healthcare environment. Previous exposure to an ultrasound environment is essential, with an understanding of departmental workflows and patient pathways. Knowledge and experience of supporting Radiologists during ultrasound and fluoroscopy examinations. Ability to provide high-quality patient care, including supporting patients during sensitive and intimate procedures and acting as a chaperone where appropriate.
