About the Role
Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Bandsaw Operator for a permanent role at a busy seafood processing facility in Grimsby, paying up to £12.97 per hour. The position follows a Monday-to-Friday shift pattern from 6:00am to 2:30pm, requiring own or reliable transport as no public transport serves the site. Key responsibilities include operating bandsaws to cut and portion fish accurately to customer specifications, performing quality checks during production, and maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards. Candidates will also clean and upkeep workstations and equipment. This role demands prior bandsaw experience within a food processing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating bandsaw machinery to cut and portion fish safely and accurately
- Preparing fish products to customer specifications
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health andamp; safety
- Carrying out quality checks on products throughout the production process
- Cleaning and maintaining workstations and equipment
- Supporting the wider production team as required
What We''re Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience operating a bandsaw within a fish or food production environment is highly desirable
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or seafood processing environment is advantageous
Skills andamp; Attributes
- Ability to operate bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when portioning products
- Understanding of food hygiene and health andamp; safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced production environment
