Job Description: We are seeking for a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner/Social Worker/Community Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and interventions to children and young people within a community setting, working collaboratively with families and other professionals within a multi-disciplinary team, while demonstrating advanced clinical skills and managing a complex caseload, all under the guidance of senior clinicians; key duties include conducting detailed assessments, developing individualized care plans, delivering evidence-based therapies, coordinating care with other agencies, and actively promoting child safeguarding concerns. Key responsibilities: Comprehensive assessments:Conduct thorough mental health assessments of children and young people, including presenting symptoms, developmental history, family dynamics, and social context. Care planning:Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based practices and considering the needs of the child, family, and wider support network. Therapeutic interventions:Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation sessions, tailored to the specific needs of each child and family.
