Overview

AWP CAMHS are looking to recruit a Quality Improvement Lead to work alongside the CAMHS Clinical Lead and the wider clinical teams across CAMHS and the organisation. The post holder will lead quality improvement programmes within divisions and across the Trust, empower clinical and operational teams to lead their own QI projects, track key performance indicators, and provide assurance at Divisional and Trust levels with escalation of issues when necessary.Main duties

To promote a culture committed to continuously improving and providing high quality patient services.To provide support to services on all aspects of quality improvement.To track key performance indicators to provide assurance within services and at Divisional and Trust level of compliance (or early view of arising issues where applicable).Facilitation of Division services QI projects and collaboratives related to service priorities/objectives and corporate requirements.To support corporate Trust requirements e.g. National Audits, NICE.About us

Responsibilities

To promote and encourage a culture committed to continuously improving and providing high quality patient services.On a regular basis provide expert knowledge, support and assistance to all health care professionals at all levels within the service on all aspects of effective and continuous quality improvement.Mentor, support, encourage and advise staff.The post holder will communicate and have working relationships with Trust staff at all levels within the organisation, both clinical and non-clinical. This requires persuasive skills where agreement and co-operation are essential.Communication of results through clear and concise reports ensuring information is understandable at an appropriate level.Person Specification

Education and QualificationEducated to degree level (or equivalent experience) with excellent literacy and numeracy skillsQuality Improvement qualification or equivalent level training and experienceExperience and KnowledgeExpert knowledge in quality improvement processes, procedures and methodologies and significant experience applying this knowledge at Band 5 or above (or equivalent)DesirableNHS ExperienceSkills and AbilitiesAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to produce quality reports, extracting and analysing significant amounts of intricate and possibly sensitive or contentious data.Strong communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate across the Trust, vertically and horizontally across the management chain, and with other Trusts at all levels.Other information
