This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Anatomical Pathology Technician with post-mortem experience to join a professional team on a full-time contract.If you have the required qualifications and are available to start as soon as possible, we''d love to hear from you.Role DetailsJob Title: Band 7 Mortuary TechnicianSpecialty: Mortuary ServicesStart Date: ASAPContract End: 30th September 2026Hours: 37.5 hours per weekShifts: Core working hoursContract Type: NHS AgencyKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out hospital post-mortem examinations.Prepare and assist during post-mortem procedures.Receive, identify and release deceased patients in accordance with Trust policies.Maintain accurate mortuary documentation and records.Ensure compliance with HTA legislation and infection prevention procedures.Support the day-to-day operation of the mortuary service.Maintain a respectful, dignified and professional environment at all times.Essential RequirementsCertificate or Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology orNVQ Level 3 in Anatomical Pathology TechnologyPrevious NHS Mortuary Technician experience.Competent in carrying out post-mortem examinations.Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, HTA regulations and infection control.Right to work in the UK.Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).Compliance documentation available ..... full job details .....
