We are currently recruiting experienced Band 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to join a busy clinical service. This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous practitioner who is confident assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with minor illness and minor injuries.The RoleAs a Band 7 ANP, you will work autonomously within your scope of practice, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients.You will need to demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills and be confident working independently within a fast-paced environment.Essential RequirementsRegistered Nurse with the NMC and extensive relevant clinical experienceTop to Toe Health Assessment Needs ModuleMinor Illness and Major Injuries ModuleAbility to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with minor injuriesCompetent in referring patients for X-ray and interpreting X-ray resultsSuturing and suture/staple removalIR(ME)R / Red Dot TrainingGeneral wound careAdministration of medication via IM and SC injectionSepsis TrainingNHS Smartcard holderExperience using SystmOne or Rio patient record systemsDesirable SkillsNon-Medical Prescribing (NMP) - with an expectation of working under PGDsPhlebotomy / VenepuncturePlasteringAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced ANP who is confident working autonomously and can demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.You will have a strong understanding of patient safety, ..... full job details .....
