This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to adults within the community setting.What your responsibilities will be for this Speech and Language Therapy role?As a Band 6/7 Locum Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders in the community. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized therapy plans and implement appropriate interventions to improve their quality of life. Your duties will include conducting home visits or community-based assessments, providing therapeutic support, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care. Additionally, you will be required to manage your caseload efficiently, maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and engage with patients and their families to provide education and support.
