You''ll play a key role in helping students develop the communication and life skills they need to achieve greater independence and fulfil their potential. The Role As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services at both universal and individual levels.Assess and manage communication, eating and drinking needs using formal and informal assessment methods.Independently manage a clinical caseload within a specialist education setting.Support learners using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) where appropriate.Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to embed communication strategies into the curriculum.Deliver training, coaching and advice to staff to promote effective communication support across the college.Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure smooth transitions into, through and beyond college.Champion person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming practice that promotes ..... full job details .....
