These posts are ideal if you are an experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapist seeking a new opportunity. You should have clinical experience managing patients across various specialties in an acute hospital setting.You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and interdisciplinary team skills by working as part of the therapy team across various rotations: OPAL (AandE), Short Stay, HCOP, TandO, Respiratory, Stroke, Specialist Surgery, Medicals, and MAU.We offer excellent training and development opportunities, along with robust supervision and appraisal systems. We are committed to the continued professional and career development of all staff. In addition to delivering direct patient care, the post holder will participate in audits and service reviews.The role involves providing therapeutic assessment, management, and treatment of patients in a variety of specialties at Heartlands Hospital. You will focus on interventions for a wide range of clinical cases, applying physiotherapy knowledge with an emphasis on facilitating discharges home or to other care pathways.You should possess excellent communication, prioritisation, and organisational skills, with experience working in a multidisciplinary team. You will undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining accurate records.
