Band 6 Nurse / Paramedic - Virtual Ward (Remote Working)Ongoing Agency OpportunityWe are currently recruiting Band 6 Registered Nurses or Paramedics to support an expanding Virtual Ward service, working fully remotely as part of a multidisciplinary team.About the RoleAs a Virtual Ward Clinician, you will play a key role in supporting patients with complex care needs and long-term conditions, helping them manage their health safely at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.This role involves:Managing inbound and outbound calls with patientsClinical assessment, decision-making and escalation where requiredProviding advice, monitoring symptoms and supporting self-managementWorking with wider community and acute teams to coordinate careWorking PatternHours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 20:00Out-of-hours cover will increase as the service becomes busierMinimum commitment: 25 hours per weekOngoing agency work with consistent shifts availablePay Rates£21 - £30 per hour, depending on experience and roleRequirementsRegistered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC)Experience working at Band 6 level (or equivalent)Strong clinical assessment and telephone/remote triage skillsExperience with long-term conditions, complex care, or community/urgent care settings desirableConfident working autonomously in a remote environmentWhy Join?Fully remote workingCompetitive agency ratesFlexible hours with long-term opportunitiesBe part of an innovative service transforming patient ..... full job details .....
