Band 6 Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 OT to support our Intensive Rehabilitation Service for bed based rehabilitation based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist includes.Looking for an experienced Band 6 OT to support our Intensive Rehabilitation Service for bed based rehabilitation based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.Experience with care of the elderly, orthopaedics, neurology, falls prevention and discharge planning will be beneficial.We are a small and highly motivated therapy team who support patients following a pathway 2 discharge from hospital for a 28 day stay in a care home setting with the team providing daily rehabilitation interventions to prepare them for discharge home or into their long term setting.To Be Successful.Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.HCPC RegistrationEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)Eligibility to work in the UKOccupational Therapist QualificationBenefits of Working with Salisbury.Our client offers the opportunity for additional training for both perm and temporary members of staff within the trust With new projects underway in various teams, they offer a very competitive rate of pay.
