This is an excellent opportunity for a podiatrist with specialist diabetes experience to provide high-quality care to patients at risk of diabetic foot complications.If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a flexible part-time NHS contract, we''d love to hear from you.Role DetailsJob Title: Band 6 Diabetes Specialist PodiatristSpecialty: Diabetes PodiatryStart Date: ASAPContract End: 16th October 2026Hours: 2 days per week (to be confirmed)Working Pattern: Must include ThursdaysContract Type: NHS AgencyKey ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose and manage patients with diabetic foot complications.Deliver specialist podiatry treatment in line with national diabetes guidelines.Develop treatment plans to reduce the risk of ulceration and lower limb complications.Work as part of a multidisciplinary diabetes team.Provide patient education on foot care and diabetes management.Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.Participate in clinical audits and service improvement initiatives where appropriate.Essential RequirementsHCPC registered Podiatrist.Previous NHS experience as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist.Experience managing high-risk diabetic foot patients.Excellent clinical assessment and wound care skills.Strong communication and multidisciplinary working experience.Right to work in the ..... full job details .....
