Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a well-established NHS Community Mental Health Team based within the Southend area of Essex, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RMN seeking a full-time agency position with regular weekday hours, a supportive multidisciplinary team and the potential to secure a long-term contract. The Role As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will manage a varied caseload of adults with complex mental health needs, providing high-quality, recovery-focused care within the community. You will work autonomously whilst collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions that promote independence, wellbeing and positive clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of complex and highly complex patients within the community. Complete comprehensive mental health assessments using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. Develop collaborative, person-centred care plans that balance risk management, recovery, client choice and independence. Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with service users, using excellent communication, reasoning and negotiation skills. Plan, implement and review interventions, ensuring all areas of clinical risk are appropriately assessed and managed. Monitor treatment effectiveness, evaluating and adapting care plans in response to changing clinical needs. ..... full job details .....
