What you will do: Perform all aspects of routine Histopathology lab duties, with a focus on microtomy sectioning including standard, mega, singles, levels, and cores. Conduct routine HandE staining using the Leica Spectra. Embed all types of histology specimens as outlined above. Pass an in-house UKAS standard competency assessment within 2 days of starting in the lab. Operate existing lab equipment, all provided by Leica, with minimal training.
