Band 4 Finance Officer

Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Western Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a temporary Band 4 Finance Officer. This role will be based in Omagh, and will be for 3 months initially. Location: Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital, OmaghContract: Temporary, 3 months initiallyHours: Monday-Friday 9:00am- 5:00pmPay rate: Band 4- £14.06 per hour As Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations, reporting and administrative functions within the Finance Department. You will work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure efficient financial processes and accurate financial management. Key responsibilities:Processing financial assessments and payment informationMaintaining accurate financial records and databasesSupporting invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and income recoveryAssisting with payroll and reimbursement processesPreparing financial reports and spreadsheetsLiaising with service users, social workers, care managers, and external agenciesResponding to finance-related queries professionally and efficientlySupporting Direct Payment users and financial monitoring processesSupporting audit, fraud prevention, and governance activitiesMeeting strict financial deadlines and reporting requirementsProcessing cash receipts and bankingManaging petty cash and patient property accountsRecording financial transactions accurately Essential criteria:CCAB part qualified or equivalent or hold a University degree in Finance, Accounting ..... full job details .....
