Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer with typing duties
Your new company A public sector organisation is recruiting for a Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer based in Lisburn.Your new role As a Higher Clerical Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy department. Your responsibilities will include managing incoming and outgoing calls, coordinating room bookings, arranging and issuing appointment details, and carrying out general administrative duties such as typing, photocopying, and maintaining accurate records.You will be responsible for logging and processing referrals, updating internal information systems and waiting lists, and ensuring all documentation is filed electronically in line with organisational procedures. You will also provide reception cover as required, acting as a first point of contact and delivering a professional and welcoming service to service users and colleagues.The role will involve working with internal healthcare systems, including Encompass, alongside completing any additional administrative tasks appropriate to the role level.What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have previous administrative experience within a fast-paced environment, ideally within a healthcare setting.
