Your new company Hays are recruiting on behalf of a leading public sector organisation for a Higher Clerical Officer (Band 3) to join a busy Children and Family Services team. Working within a fast-paced administrative environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of vital support services.Your new role As a Higher Clerical Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a professional multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:Managing diaries, arranging meetings, booking venues, coordinating travel and hospitality requirements.Taking minutes and preparing meeting documentation when required.Maintaining accurate filing systems, records management processes and office administration procedures.Processing incoming correspondence, drafting routine communications and directing enquiries appropriately.Handling telephone calls and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.Producing letters, reports, minutes and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.Assisting with the preparation of reports, policies and statistical information.Maintaining stock levels and processing departmental orders.Updating and searching information systems and databases.Supporting the collection, collation and reporting of service data.Managing petty cash processes in line with ..... full job details .....
