Taskmaster Resources are looking for a Baler / Light Machine Operative for our client based in Bacup.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Start: October
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

• Sunday: 6:00am – 6:30pm
• Monday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 6:00am – 10:00am

• Operating the automatic baler/compactor safely and efficiently.
• Operating the baler from the control panel and monitoring its performance.
• Managing material stocks within the bunker.
• Changing ancillary items such as bale wire when required.
• Monitoring the condition of the baler and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
• Keeping the baler and surrounding work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Taking and recording accurate baler data for reporting purposes.
• Carrying out general light machine operation and associated tasks.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
• Completing relevant paperwork and reports.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.

Previous experience operating machinery or a baler is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
