Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Food Production/Bakery Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing company based in LeicestershireThis role will be working directly with our client on a temp to perm contractThe Job: Working as a Bakery Operative which means you could be working or trained to work in several areas of their factoryThis can include: mixing and baking cakes, icing cakes and packing the finished productsOther duties can include: Follow work instructions to ensure all cakes meet our quality standardsFollow the production planFollow Team Leader/ Manager instructionsMinimise waste whilst workingFollow HandS guidanceReport near missesFollow Good Manufacturing ProcessesPaperwork completionClean as you go There are 2 shifts available based on where neededMonday to Friday 6am-3pmMonday to Friday 8am-5pmBoth are 40 hours per week with overtime available when production is very busy and applies after 40 hours You will start on National Living Wage but once trained, you will receive an uplift in hourly salary The person: Knowledge of the food industry would be an advantage, but not mandatoryPositive, flexible and can-do attitudeHard workingAll training will be providedHave access to transport as there are no public transport for the early shift start times LEC01 ..... full job details .....
