Earnings : depending on experienceLocation : London, EC2M 3YDContract type : Permanent, full-time, 40 hours, shifts starting from 4amAs a Baker , youll be working in Eatalys on-site open Bakery, a vital part of the Eataly experience, and working closely with our Sous Chef and Head Baker in leading our in-house production. Our customer-facing bakery is home to a traditional wood-fired oven, where our team produces a variety of breads and focaccias, as well as sweet baked goods, which are sold directly to customers and served in our restaurants and café.Shifts for this role will start at 4am and we cannot accomodate requests for a later start time due to the production.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGPrepare bread, focaccia, rolls, and other bread items for Eatalys restaurants and retail operations.Ensures all foods prepared meet quality standards in terms of portion size, flavor, texture, and consistency.Follows proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread.Mixing, weighing, and shaping the dough, working with fresh ingredients, and producing everything from scratch.WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR...

A minimum of 2 years of bakery experience in a high-volume production bakeryExperience in the production of various baked goods, including but not limited to bread, sourdough, and viennoiserie.Strong baking skills working with fresh ingredients, from mixing ingredients to shaping and baking the dough.Availability to work on site with a flexible rota covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.Shifts for this role will typically start between 4 am and 5 am.Ability to use a wood fire oven and other professional kitchen equipment.A warm and friendly attitude, and confidence to interact with our guests.Fluent in English.Right to work in the UK.
