Hybrid working - London basedAs a Backend Engineer, you will build and scale services that enable internationalisation and support integration of new platform capabilities into the Live ecosystem.RoleThe Backend Engineer will be responsible for building services for multi-language configuration and regional behaviourSupporting currency handling, pricing logic, and transaction flowsIntegrating new systems into the Live platformContributing to a shared transaction layer used across multiple productsCollaborating with frontend and mobile engineers to deliver consistent experiences Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build backend services end-to-endContribute to platform and API design decisionsImprove system performance and reliabilityWork within an evolving architecture with real production constraintsProfileThe Backend Engineer will have strong API and service development skillsExperience working on transaction systems, payments, or eCommerce platforms is requiredExperience with GraphQL preferredExposure to Elixir, Go, or similar backend technologiesAbility to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments Code-Writing Contribution Owns and delivers production backend services with increasing responsibility in system design.CompanyGlobal market leading e-commerce organisation with offices in LondonHybrid working - London based ..... full job details .....
