The role will primarily provide cover where the normal driver is unavailable and will also support day-to-day site and logistical activities when driving cover is not required Key Responsibilities Provide driving cover for gas mains replacement teams as required. Deliver, collect and transfer Signing, Lighting and Guarding (SLG) equipment to and from operational work sites. Assist with the safe placement, checking and removal of SLG where required and where appropriately trained and authorised. Collect, deliver and transfer materials, tools, plant and equipment required by operational teams. Support the movement of vehicles and equipment between work sites and the yard. Ensure vehicles are operated safely, legally and in accordance with company requirements. Complete required daily vehicle checks and immediately report defects, damage or maintenance requirements.
