Back End Developer

OverviewSoftware Developers with an interest around modern Azure PaaS/SaaS offerings are wanted by an established FinTech software company, who build risk assessment products for the Insurance, ReInsurance and Pensions markets. The company is a well-established leader in their domain and operates with small team sizes to give engineers influence on projects. You’ll work in a strong Azure/Cloud environment; experience with Azure Functions, App Services, and Storage is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop C# applications (.NET 6/9) in a FinTech context

Work within an Azure/Cloud environment using Azure services (Functions, App Services, Table/Queue/Blob Storage)

Apply Event Sourcing, TDD, BDD, DDD and SOLID Principles to ensure code quality

Collaborate in a squad-based team with autonomy to explore technology and contribute to architecture

Qualifications

Proficiency in C#/.NET (6/9)

Experience with CosmosDB, Blob Storage

Understanding of OOP/SOLID and Event Sourcing / Event Driven patterns

Bonus points for Python

The successful candidate will earn up to £90,000 with a package including generous bonus and pension contribution, training budget, travel loans and other benefits. Based in Central London HQ; typically on-site 2 days per week.
