The Opportunity
As a Baby Room Leader, you will play an important role in supporting children''s learning, development, and wellbeing while helping to create engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
You''ll be joining a nursery where staff are genuinely valued, professional development is encouraged, and teamwork is at the heart of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observe, assess and monitor children''s progress and development
- Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to individual learning plans
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive
- Support children''s emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate
- Contribute to outdoor learning experiences and enrichment activities
What We''re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, caring and professional approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
