Air Personnel are looking for a-B1.3 Licensed Engineer (Equal Time) to join their client in Kidlington

Description/Overall purpose of the Job for the-B1.3 Licensed Engineer

As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you''ll be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of Airbus rotorcraft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160.

You will be placed on an equal time (7 day on 7 day off) roster supporting both line and base activities.

Main responsibilities

• Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors.- This is a certifying role that requires a Part 66 License in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft). The ability to work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.

• Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations most importantly Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements is essential.

• Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems.- Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.

• Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work.

• Ability to engage with the customer and positively represent the company

Knowledge and Skills required for the-B1.3 Licensed Engineer

Essential

• Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment.

• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

• Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer

Education, Qualifications or Training

Essential

• Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA)

• Currency on type

Desirable

• EC135 / BK117 C-2 / BK117 D-2 / BK117 D-3 Type rated

• Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate.

Additional requirements-

• Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.-

• Applicants must meet any/all requirements of ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations.

• Travel within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements (not extensive).
