Meritus Talent is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organisation in the North East with the recruitment of experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on a permanent basis. We''re looking for B1s who hold both Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737NG type ratings and are passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance. The Opportunity As a Certifying B1 Engineer, you''ll play a key role in the delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring aircraft are maintained and released to service in line with regulatory and customer requirements. You''ll supervise maintenance teams, provide technical leadership on the hangar floor, and work closely with planning, quality, and operations teams to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Certify aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with your company authorisations. Supervise and support maintenance technicians during base maintenance inputs. Ensure all work is completed in line with approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements. Allocate tasks effectively and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel.
