AZURE PLATFORM ENGINEER - PERM - FINANCIAL SERVICES

Azure Platform Engineer We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join a team delivering a major transformation of its technology and IT infrastructure across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments. You will play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting secure, scalable Azure platforms, working closely with DevOps and development teams to deliver reusable cloud solutions and best-practice engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy and support Azure infrastructure across private and hybrid cloud environments. Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ideally, Ansible . Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions . Manage containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS and Helm . Implement automation using Python, Bash and/or PowerShell . Design and support Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPNs, Firewalls and ExpressRoute . Implement cloud security, identity, monitoring, high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support production environments. Promote cloud cost optimisation, DevOps and good engineering practices. Work with technical and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with architecture and security standards.
