Azure Infrastructure Engineer

The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis to join a well-established organisation based near Salisbury. This role offers hybrid working with a minimum of two days on site. You will be joining the Architecture and Engineering team who focused on supporting and enhancing a complex on-premises infrastructure estate while also contributing to the organisation''s ongoing cloud transformation journey.As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, security and availability of critical IT infrastructure environments. Working closely with operational teams, developers and project stakeholders, you will help deliver and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support business objectives and future growth.The RoleThe organisation is currently hybrid, and this role is to initially manage the remaining on-prem infrastructure with a view to assisting the organisation in the migration to Azure in line with their current technology road map.Therefore, we are looking for someone who has previous or current experience supporting on-prem infrastructure. Previous experience with migrating to cloud would be beneficial but is not essential and this would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain, or strengthen their Cloud capabilities going forward.
