Azure Cloud Migration Engineer

Location: Sunderland (3 days per week onsite - days may vary)Duration: 3-Month Initial Contract Rate: tbc on application/day inside IR35 We''re looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Migration Engineer / Azure Migration Engineer to support a major data centre exit and cloud transformation programme. This is a hands-on contract role focused on migrating on-premise infrastructure, servers and applications into Microsoft Azure. The Azure Cloud Migration Engineer will join a team responsible for delivering critical migration activities, building Azure infrastructure, supporting landing zones, and ensuring operational resilience throughout the migration journey. The programme includes workload migration, cloud platform engineering, infrastructure modernisation and remediation of security vulnerabilities identified across the estate. This opportunity would suit an Azure Cloud Migration Engineer / Azure Migration Engineer who has delivered large-scale Azure migration programmes and is comfortable working across cloud infrastructure, datacentre services, networking and operational support.
