Azure Cloud Engineer Permanent Up to £70,000 + benefits Cheltenham - Hybrid working (2 days per week) We''re working with an established global organisation looking to add an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to its technology team. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of Azure environments: troubleshooting complex issues, improving existing infrastructure and making cloud services more secure, resilient and manageable. We''re particularly interested in people who started their careers in infrastructure, systems or technical support and have subsequently specialised in Microsoft Azure. What you''ll be doing You''ll work across an established Azure environment, taking responsibility for a mixture of operational engineering, technical improvement and cloud transformation. Your work will include supporting and improving Azure infrastructure; troubleshooting complex cloud and connectivity issues; working across Azure networking, compute, storage and identity; strengthening security and governance; supporting migration and modernisation activity; improving monitoring, resilience, backup and recovery; and identifying opportunities to improve performance and cloud expenditure. You''ll also help the organisation continue developing its use of Infrastructure as Code and automation, using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell.
