AWS Platform Engineer

One of the big four are seeking an AWS Platform Engineer to join their team within Technology and Transformation. The team is focused on the technical delivery of new solutions that solve complex challenges for clients. You will help drive innovation and technology forward, collaborating with cross-functional teams and using cutting-edge tools. We are looking for an experienced cloud platform engineer with in-depth knowledge of engineering and architectural principles to design and build innovative platform solutions. Role: AWS Platform Engineer - Technology and Transformation Day rate: £550 - 650 per day Pay framework: Umbrella Company Start date: ASAP Contract duration: 6 months initially (with scope to extend) Location: Belfast. (hybrid role) Key Accountabilities: Solid and demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering or architecture, with a deep working knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and cloud management principles applied in professional delivery contexts. A track record of designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based platforms and infrastructure, with a focus on AWS. Hands on experience with AWS, including practical delivery across core services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, Amazon VPC, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Lambda, and AWS App Runner or AWS Fargate.
