AWS Developer - Contract - Outside IR35

Reed Technology is working with a public sector organisation to recruit an experienced AWS Developer.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute as a key team member to the delivery of new cloud-native digital services, replacing legacy platformsEnhance and support existing services through new features, bug fixes, and technical improvementsWork closely with business stakeholders to understand context and deliver value-focused outcomesTroubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environmentsRequirementsProven experience developing solutions on AWSStrong experience with serverless architectures, AWS CDK, S3, API Gateway and CloudFormationSolid development experience with TypeScript / JavaScriptExperience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum and/or Kanban)Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and operational toolingStrong collaboration and communication skillsNice to have:Experience with Cypress or similar testing toolsUse of UI pattern libraries to deliver consistent, high-quality interfacesHuman-centred and inclusive design practicesBenefits:6-month contract, Outside IR35£425-£450 per day (could be slightly higher for an exceptional match)Hybrid working - Edinburgh or GlasgowOpportunity to work on high-impact public sector ..... full job details .....
