AWS Cloud Engineer

AWS Cloud Engineer - 50-80,000 per annum base (dependent on experience) + benefits - Gloucester We are recruiting several AWS Cloud Engineers to join a leading global defence, aerospace, and security consultancy firm.This permanent role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC and DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to secure nature of the position and working environment, you must have or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance. Main responsibilities:Designing and building cloud-native architecturesUsing Terraform or CDK to deploy resourcesInfrastructure creation and management and designLiaising with key stakeholders, internal and externalCreate exemplar implementation patterns to projects (i.e. provide a standard Puppet script that will create a single AWS server with some CM)Managing and controlling the software configuration for projects including the source repositoryLeveraging many AWS security features and ensuring security best practices with developersFor Senior Engineers there will be an opportunity for you to lead teams or individualsKey skills and experience:You must be skilled in a range of AWS services, and show a keenness to keep up to date with the latest releasesExperience using Infrastructure as Code, for example, Terraform, Cloudformation or CDKHave used configuration management ..... full job details .....
