Phase 2 significantly widens the prescribed hazards landlords must respond to within statutory timescales — including excess cold, excess heat, falls, structural collapse, fire, electrical safety and hygiene, alongside damp and mould — and the council needs a specialist who can move quickly to build the structures, processes and reporting that keep it compliant from day one.   The role You'll be responsible for putting in place a fit-for-purpose system to identify, log, prioritise and track hazards across the council's housing stock, ensuring every case can be evidenced against Awaab's Law timescales.
