      <description>Location: North Yorkshire | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | I am recruiting for my client who is looking for an experienced  Avionics Technician  to join their established engineering team in North Yorkshire.  This is a hands on opportunity suited to someone with strong aircraft electrical and avionics experience who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working within a close knit technical team.   Avionics Technician  Responsibilities:  	 Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems. 	 Diagnose and rectify electrical and avionics faults. 	 Use wiring diagrams, schematics and technical information to investigate system defects. 	 Complete component changes, testing and repairs as required. 	 Support aircraft modifications and engineering tasks. 	 Maintain accurate maintenance and technical documentation. 	 Assist with operational requirements and aircraft servicing. 	 Work effectively as part of a small and experienced engineering team. 	 Remain flexible to support occasional work at other UK and European locations.
