Avionics Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Avionic Supervisor to support the maintenance of Chinook helicopters at RAF Odiham. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity to join a highly skilled aerospace maintenance team, supervising avionic maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with both Military (QR640) and Boeing Part 145 maintenance standards.The RoleAs an Avionic Supervisor, you will provide technical supervision and hands-on support during Primary and Primary Star maintenance activities on Chinook helicopters. You will oversee inspection, fault diagnosis, component replacement and operational testing of aircraft systems while ensuring all maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and carry out avionic maintenance on Chinook helicopters.Inspect, remove, replace and functionally test aircraft electrical and avionic systems.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with QR640 Military Aviation Regulations and Boeing Part 145 requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.Ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company and military procedures.Support fault diagnosis and rectification of complex aircraft system defects.Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians and operational teams to deliver maintenance schedules.Essential ..... full job details .....
