The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a growing smart home business right at the point of expansion.

You''ll be working directly with the owner, an experienced installer with a strong reputation in the high-end residential space, who is now scaling the business after years of delivering projects solo.

The Role

You''ll be hands-on across premium residential smart home projects, supporting installs from first fix through to final handover:

• First and second fix cabling
• Installation of Control4 systems (controllers, touchscreens, keypads)
• Installation of Lutron lighting systems (keypads, modules)
• TV and audio installs with clean, high-end finishes
• Rack building, wiring, and labelling
• WiFi systems and home networking
• Fault finding and service visits
• Running smaller installs independently once up to speed
• Using a laptop on-site for system checks and basic configuration

You won''t be expected to programme systems, but you should be confident working alongside them.

What They''re Looking For

This is a key hire, not just another installer.

• Proven experience in smart homes or residential AV
• Experience with Control4 and/or Lutron is a strong advantage
• Good understanding of structured cabling and basic networking
• Comfortable using a laptop on-site for testing and coordination
• High attention to detail and pride in your work
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Professional and comfortable working in high-end homes
• Full UK driving licence
