Automotive Technical Specialist - Vehicle Technicians Welcome

Location: BGA, Groundwell Industrial Estate, Swindon, SN25 5AB Hours: Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:15pm. No weekend working. Enjoy diagnosing faults and understanding how automotive components work? Ready to put your workshop experience to use in a different technical role? At BGA, we re looking for a vehicle technician to join our Technical team. This is an opportunity to take your practical automotive knowledge into component inspection, product testing and failure investigation. You don t need to have worked in quality control before. We re interested in your technical understanding, approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn. We ll support you in developing the product inspection and reporting skills needed for the role. What you ll be doing Inspecting new products, production samples and stock to assess quality and suitability. Investigating returned components to help establish why they have failed. Using measuring equipment to check components against specifications. Recording findings and preparing clear inspection reports. Supporting colleagues and customers with automotive technical queries. Working with our suppliers on inspection findings and product improvements. What we re looking for Practical experience as a vehicle technician, with a good understanding of automotive components and how they work.
