Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer (Contract) Location: Preston Area - Hybrid Rate: Up to £475 per day (Outside IR35) Contract Length: Initial 12 Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to support a major Embedded systems programme within a highly regulated engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in cybersecurity engineering activities across complex vehicle platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) for Embedded systems and electronic control units. Define and document cybersecurity requirements and technical specifications. Produce high-quality engineering documentation to support compliance and assurance activities. Define cryptographic service requirements for Embedded platforms. Support cybersecurity activities throughout the product development life cycle. Collaborate with engineering, software and systems teams across multiple locations. Contribute to programme delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timescales. Support technical reviews, audits and cybersecurity governance activities. Required Skills andamp; Experience Strong experience within automotive or Embedded systems cybersecurity engineering.
