One of the world''s largest automotive OEM''s, is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer, to deliver Body (BIW) and Trim parts - including acoustic and aerodynamic related parts, to cost, quality and timing targets, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.
Duties of the Body Engineer include:-
* Automotive Body Part development
* Support design activities
* Lead validation and adoption
* Cost performance management andamp; cost optimisation
* Benchmarking
Knowledge, Skills andamp; Experience required for the Body Engineer role:-
* Ideally Degree Educated or equivalent industry experience
* A background within the Automotive industry
* Experience of body development for mass production
* Knowledge of managing Crash / NVH / Stiffness of body in white (BIW)
* Experience of working with BIW pressings and assembly, and trim parts
* Supplier Management
* NX-CAD Skill to review 3D-data / Drawings
* Valid driving license
